Virtual phone numbers are provided subject to inventory, carrier allocation rules, geographic coverage, and local regulatory requirements. Numbox does not guarantee the permanent availability, specific area code assignment, or uninterrupted operational access to any specific virtual phone number, and numbers may be reassigned, modified, or reclaimed if required by underlying carrier regulations, statutory mandates, or account default.
5. Purchasing and managing numbers
Users may purchase and manage virtual phone numbers through the Numbox account settings or service agreements in accordance with available plan terms. You are responsible for reviewing regional compliance rules, documentation mandates, and carrier verification requirements prior to provisioning a phone number. Numbox reserves the right to request proof of identity, business registration, or regulatory verification documents before activating or maintaining virtual numbers. Any failure to submit required documentation or maintain active subscription standing may result in the immediate rejection, cancellation, or release of the associated phone numbers.
6. Number renewal and expiration
Virtual phone numbers assigned to your account require continuous subscription renewals or regular fee payments to remain active. It is your responsibility to maintain sufficient account funds, active payment methods, or timely subscription renewals to prevent number expiration. If an account subscription lapses, payment fails, or an account is terminated, assigned phone numbers will enter an expiration period and may subsequently be released back to telecommunications providers. Once a number is released or expired, Numbox cannot guarantee its recovery, restoration, or re-assignment to your account.
7. Calling services
Where voice communication features are made available, Numbox enables businesses to route, manage, and record voice calls subject to carrier availability, device compatibility, and regional infrastructure. Calling services are intended strictly for standard business interactions. You are responsible for ensuring that all inbound and outbound call activities comply with relevant privacy, wiretapping, call recording, and telecommunications consent laws in all applicable jurisdictions. Numbox does not provide emergency calling capabilities (such as 911, 112, or 999 services), and you must ensure alternative communication arrangements exist for emergency calls.
8. SMS services
Numbox provides SMS messaging features and delivery routing across supported telecommunications networks. You are required to ensure that all SMS campaigns, transactional messages, and broadcasts comply with applicable messaging laws, opt-in consent guidelines, carrier rules, and recipient opt-out requirements. Delivery rates and statuses depend heavily on carrier filters, destination country rules, network availability, and message formatting. Numbox does not guarantee delivery timeframes or absolute delivery success for SMS messages sent through third-party carrier networks.
9. Credits and usage charges
Certain communication services on Numbox—including SMS broadcasts, WhatsApp messages, and voice calls—may rely on prepaid messaging credits, usage-based pricing, or add-on recharges. Communication fees vary depending on the target destination, message classification, channel type, underlying carrier charges, and applicable taxes. You are solely responsible for monitoring your usage levels and maintaining adequate account credits. Unused credits, expiration limits, transferability, and refund terms are governed by your selected subscription plan, written service agreement, and applicable laws.
10. Payments and billing
Numbox offers flexible subscription plans including monthly, annual, prepaid, usage-based, or customized business tiers. You agree to pay all recurring subscription fees, usage charges, taxes, and additional costs associated with your chosen account plan. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date in accordance with our cancellation procedures. You authorize Numbox or its authorized payment processors to charge your stored payment method for all applicable fees. In the event of payment failures, Numbox may restrict access to paid features or suspend service until outstanding amounts are settled. 11. Refunds and cancellations

You are obligated to maintain appropriate business authorizations, refrain from abusing platform bandwidth or infrastructure, and ensure that all staff members or team users operating under your account strictly abide by these terms.
13. Prohibited activities
You are strictly prohibited from using Numbox to transmit spam, unsolicited bulk messages, fraudulent content, deceptive schemes, or harassing communications. Furthermore, you must not use the service to conduct phishing, impersonate entities, distribute malware or harmful code, or violate third-party privacy or intellectual property rights. Gathering contact details without proper recipient consent, bypassing technical usage limits or security controls, interfering with system stability, or violating third-party telecommunications policies is grounds for immediate campaign restriction, account suspension, or service termination without notice.
14. Third-party telecommunications providers
Numbox relies on external telecommunications providers, mobile network operators, SMS aggregators, voice carriers, and communication APIs (such as WhatsApp Business) to deliver messaging and calling services. Your use of these features is subject to the independent policies, technical standards, and terms of these third-party operators. Numbox has no control over carrier policy changes, campaign rejections, message blockages, phone number bans, or service disruptions imposed independently by external telecommunications providers, and we do not guarantee third-party account or template approvals.
15. Service availability
While Numbox strives to provide a highly available and reliable platform, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free operations. Platform availability may be impacted by scheduled system maintenance, emergency hardware repairs, cloud hosting failures, internet disruptions, telecommunication carrier downtime, or force majeure events. Numbox reserves the right to temporarily limit platform access to conduct necessary updates or protect system security. Formal uptime commitments are applicable only when explicitly defined in a separate written Service Level Agreement (SLA).
16. Account suspension and termination
You may terminate your Numbox account at any time through account settings or support channels. Numbox reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service access immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive communication practices, fail to settle overdue payments, or create operational security risks. Termination revokes your right to access the platform and its data. Accrued payment obligations and provisions that naturally survive termination—including indemnity, confidentiality, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—shall remain in full force.
17. Intellectual property
Numbox and its licensors retain full ownership, title, and intellectual property rights in the platform, proprietary software, design elements, interfaces, trademarks, logos, and technical documentation. Subject to compliance with these terms and active subscriptions, Numbox grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the platform for legitimate business operations. Numbox makes no guarantee that the service will meet your specific business requirements or operate completely bug-free and without service interruptions.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Numbox, its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, business opportunities, or data resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform. In all cases, Numbox's total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid or payable by you to Numbox in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
